Call for Posters: Medicine through Movement (MTM) – How Physical Activity is Changing Healthcare
CASEM is calling for poster presentations for the one day symposium (Medicine Through Movement) – this is a great opportunity to engage with attendees on appropriate research and/or present early-stage work and receive feedback from the sport medicine community.

Author notification: March 15, 2019
Instruction to Authors
The MTM poster session is intended to highlight posters that feature: proposals for future research; overview of research processes; or results of project in an area of research related to the health enhancing benefits of physical activity.
The poster session is open to all Symposium attendees. Posters will be on display throughout the duration of the Symposium and there will be a dedicated meet and greet time for symposium attendees to view the posters.
Submission Process: In order to submit a poster presentation abstract for consideration, please submit an abstract (up to 200 words) to Dawn Haworth (email@example.com) by 28, February 2019.
To display your poster at the conference, please adhere to the following specifications:
- Standard Poster Size: 36 inches X 48 inches; Layout: Landscape or Portrait
- Materials: Paper-based (with matte finish or coated paper) or foam board (excluding tri-folds)
- Information to include: Title of poster, Presenter’s name, Phone, Email, Purpose of research, Method, Findings, and 3 to 4 key words/themes If the poster is accepted, the presenting author is required to register for the Symposium, bring the printed poster to the registration desk, and present the poster at the Symposium.

CASEM Board of Directors Nominations
The CASEM Executive is seeking nominations for the CASEM Board of Directors for TWO positions, to serve a three year term beginning July 1, 2019.
Deadline for receipt of nominations is March 31, 2019. Each nomination must consist of a letter of introduction (sample can be provided upon request), signatures of five active CASEM members (members can send an email direct to Dawn Haworth supporting the nominee) and a capsule-form curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages).
The election will be conducted by e-ballot. All CASEM members in good standing will be e-mailed a list of the nominees approximately three weeks prior to the election deadline. Along with the list of the nominees, members will receive instructions on voting. The deadline for receipt of completed e-ballots is April 30, 2019.
The new Director will be announced at the 2019 Annual General Meeting in Vancouver, BC in May. If you have any questions relating to the election, please contact the CASEM Executive Director, Dawn Haworth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
