Sport Medicine Physician for SEMI in Toronto
SEMI (Sports & Exercise Medicine Institute) and Dr. Douglas Stoddard are looking for a sport medicine physician to help us with patient consultations and to join our injection team (PRP, nStride, Visco and Fat Transfers), for which procedural training will be provided if required. Both consults and injections are fully supported by our full time nurse.
We offer attractive OHIP splits and private income with our injection program. We are ideally looking for 1 half day shift per week for consultations plus 1 injection clinic, again, for a half day per week, ideally done on the same day. There is opportunity to expand shift frequency as well.
SEMI is in it’s 27th year operating as one of Toronto’s most established and reputable Sport Medicine facilities, with a solid community reputation in sport medicine, and has a large interdisciplinary team to work with you including sport medicine, orthopedic surgery, physiatry, physiotherapy, massage therapy, osteopathy and podiatry/chiropody.
Interested physicians should have a CASEM diploma, or, be working on acquiring one, and have ultrasound training, or, be soon to acquire it, to perform guided injections.
