The Centre for Health & Sports Medicine (CHSM) is a multidisciplinary full-service sports medicine facility, that has been in demand of another qualified Sports Medicine Physician for years. The Centre, as it has become affectionately known, has been in business for over 25 years. You will be hard pressed to find a more capable, enthusiastic, and dedicated team of healthcare practitioner’s in Sports Medicine in the country. It continuous growth has put great demands on the Centre, and hence, the need for additional Staff.
Although we are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, we function with a small town mentality with extremely personal care, with one to one treatments by our skilled team of Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists, Osteopath, Massage Therapists, Consulting Occupational Therapist and Dietitian, and Orthotists/Brace specialists, and under the leadership of our Medical Director, Sports Medicine physician, Dr. Howard Winston.
Dr. Winston has been in practice for 33+ years, and has a wealth of information in the industry. The Centre has a solid reputation in the community, and is looking forward to adding another Sports Medicine Physician to help enhance this already well-established reputation.
Our patient population is quite varied, and we have a very large referral base from doctor’s in Toronto and the surrounding GTA. Surgical assisting in Orthopaedics is a possible option at one of the local hospitals, but not mandatory .
The Centre offers a very competitive financial remuneration.
Prospective applicants should have his/her Diploma in Sports Medicine, through CASEM (Canadian Academy of Sport & Exercise Medicine), and Fellowship training in Sports Medicine, or equivalent education and training would be considered an asset.
