The Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) is proud to have 7 Canadian physicians and CASEM members support the Team Canada athletes in Tokyo at the 2020 Paralympic Games from August 24 - September 5, 2021.

Ottawa, 23 April 2021 - The most recent Lockdown measures imposed by the  Ontario Government on April 16th / 21 included the closure of all outdoor recreation facilities such as public soccer fields, baseball diamonds,  tennis courts and playgrounds.  Faced with mounting public pressure, including from medical professionals, the government has backtracked to allow playgrounds to be open, but with no easing of restrictions on other outdoor venues.
