Background: Grand River Sports Medicine Centre (GRSM) is a multidisciplinary full-service sports medicine company in a phase of rapid growth. GRSM consists of a team of enthusiastic and dedicated health care professionals, with three locations in Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario.
Multidisciplinary Team: Join the GRSM team of physicians that includes 2 orthopedic surgeons, 3 primary care sports medicine physicians and 1 sports medicine pediatrician. In addition, GRSM has a skilled group of allied health care professionals including 21 physiotherapists/athletic therapists, 5 chiropractors, 8 massage therapists, as well as a pedorthist and a dietician.
Specialized Services: In addition to primary care sports medicine clinics, GRSM offers you the opportunity to take part in specialized clinics such as Sport Concussions, Acute Injuries, Knee Osteoarthritis, Sports Psychotherapy, PRP Injections, Ultrasound-Guided Injections, as well as other specialized interests that you may want to develop.
University and College Varsity Clinics: GRSM runs affiliated sports medicine clinics at the University of Waterloo and at Conestoga College, which provide you with the opportunity to be involved in the care of these varsity athletes as well as team and event coverage.

Financial and Administration: GRSM offers a prime opportunity for starting a successful sports medicine practice. GRSM provides a low rent/overhead structure with potential for high volume, a high percentage of consultations, and private billing services. GRSM is renowned for its admin staff providing excellent service, and also provides full EMR support.
Requirements: Applicants for this position must hold CPSO registration and CASEM Diploma Certification. Sports Medicine PGY3 training is preferable, but not required, depending on other experience and training.
